The EU might “respond swiftly and decisively” against what it deems “unjustified” travel bans issued by the United States against five European individuals working on combating digital hatred and disinformation, an EU official stated.

EU Officials Condemn US Action as ‘Coercion’

Officials from Europe such as Emmanuel Macron accused the US administration of “coercion and intimidation”, following the visa restrictions were placed on figures who have been at the heart of efforts to introduce laws governing American tech companies.
